This is an original left tail light  lens for a 1959 Chevy Impala Car. It will fit all models of 59 Chevy cars, however, the metal inserts were only originally on the Impala model. The metal strips are in good condition, and have the original mounting bolts intact and useable. The plastic lens have a few very minute scratches that may or may not polish out, along with a tiny 1" non-separating crack that is hard to see.

Bentley 6¾ litre V8 to end production – Diesels & Hybrid on the way

Fri, 17 Aug 2012

Bentley’s outgoing boss has revealed Bentley are planning to drop their trademark 6¾ litre V8 and introduce hybrid and diesel options. Bentley’s famed 6¾ litre V8 engine – in production since 1959, although it didn’t grow to 6¾ litre until 1970 - is as much a USP for Bentley as the badge and the history. BMW tried to bring production of the old iron lump to an end in 1998 – replacing it with a characterless BMW 4.4 litre V8 – but it was back a year later when VW took over as the motivation for the Red Label Arnage – and it’s stayed ever since.

New Infiniti G Series to debut at 2013 Detroit Auto Show

Sun, 21 Oct 2012

The new 2013 / 2014 Infiniti G Series will debut at the Detroit Motor Show in January before going on sale later in 2013. Infiniti may not have managed to make the biggest mark on the car landscape in the UK, but the news of a new G-Series is interesting because it seems likely it will offer a more interesting design and more Europe-focused powertrains. The current Infini G37 comes as a 3.7 litre V6 and nothing else, which doesn’t exactly help sales in Europe where economy and CO2 levels are a bigger driver of sales than they are in Infiniti’s main market, the USA.
