I have a 59A Flathead Ford drivetrain for sale. It consists of a good running engine, good top loader 3 speed transmission, banjo style rear with hydraulic brakes, new Super Bell 4 inch dropped axle, split wishbones with new bungs and tie rod ends installed, new spring hangers and lower shock mounts, a new king pin set, and a new push rod for the fuel pump. This engine runs good and was last started a few weeks ago. I was going to put it in a 34 Ford pickup but sold the truck. Would make cool rat rod power plant by building a chassis and using your body. Engine has tubular headers and a new stock appearing Powermaster 12 volt starter. The header bolts will need Helicoils in the holes, but no bolts are broken off. You can have the spring shackles pictured with it, but they are the wrong ones that were given to me and I was going to use them during set up. F1 photos raise £20,000
Wed, 12 Feb 2014A SERIES of photographs taken by Formula One drivers and team members has raised more than £20,000 at a charity auction. The sale included an image taken by Michael Schumacher of a boat on a lake that fetched £2500. An identical amount was paid by Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone for one of his own pictures.

Mon, 14 Jul 2014New Skoda Octavia Scout costs from £25,315 The new Skoda Octavia Scout arrived at the Geneva Motor Show in the Spring, bringing an ‘Allroad’ version of the latest Skoda Octavia Combi (Estate) to the market. As with all estate cars with offroad pretensions, the Octavia Scout comes with a more butch set of bumpers and a more purposeful nose, black cladding for the door sills and wheel arches, a new set of alloys, a raised ride height and a few tweaks for the interior so it all looks more than capable of taking on a muddy boot sale car park. The Scout comes with a choice of two 2.0 litre TDI engines at launch, with a lower powered, 148bhp with a six-speed manual and a more powerful, 182bhp version, getting a six-speed DSG gearbox, both of which return official economy of 55.4mpg (although, oddly, the lower-powered gets emissions of 129g/km and the more powerful 134g/km).
Audi Urban Concept preview
Wed, 10 Aug 2011Following this past weekend's spy shots of the new urban concept caught on a film set in Berlin, Audi has released a set of sketches of the all-new 1+1-seat vehicle set for its global unveiling in Frankfurt. Claimed to combine the ‘elements of a racing car, a fun car and an urban car' the concept exploits new lightweight manufacturing processes. Its cockpit is made from carbonfiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) and it features free-standing, low-rolling resistance 21-inch wheels with protective plates.
