5mm Phenolic Intake Manifold Spacer for Audi VW 1.8 2.0 8V

Phenolic inlet manifold gasket acts as a barrier stopping heat transferring from the engine block through into the inlet manifold. Stopping this heat transfer results in a cooler inlet charge temperature and in doing so increases engine power in much the same way an intercooler does, except this is able to benefit a turbo and non-turbo setup.

Formula 1 2012: The Cars [w/video]

Tue, 07 Feb 2012

Nine of the 12 Formula 1 teams have released images and details of their cars for the 2012 World Championship as the first day of pre-season testing draws to a close at the Jerez circuit in Spain. Motor sport may fall slightly outside of Car Design News' usual remit, but the big story this year is the new 'stepped nose', which all teams bar McLaren have introduced to comply with new safety regulations, much to the chagrin of aestheticists. And with designers such as Daniel Simon (he produced the livery for HRT last season) and Peter Stevens (most notable for the Brabham cars of the 1980s) involved with the sport over the years, it's always interesting to check out the season's new machines.

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 14 April 2009 23:01 It’s definitely mid-life facelift time of year. In the past few days we’ve brought you the revised Land Rover Discovery, Range Rover, Range Sport and Merc S-class – today it’s the turn of the latest Audi Q7, finessed and fettled for the 2010 model year. Audi’s lumbering SUV has been out for three years now, so it’s time for Ingolstadt’s facelifters to work their makeover magic.

Top Gear Tonight: African Road Trip to find the source of the Nile (Part 2)

Sun, 10 Mar 2013

The last episode of Top Gear Series 19 – episode 7 – airs tonight as the second part of the ‘Christmas Special’ to find the source of the Nile in Africa. According to Jeremy Clarkson, the reason we had no Top Gear last autumn, and the reason we’re seeing the Top Gear Christmas Special to find the source of the Nile in Africa in £1500 estates now, is that the BBC schedules were too crammed with stuff like the summer of sport, Strictly Come Dancing and I’m a Z-list Celebrity. But if the viewing figures for part 1 of the Top Gear special to find the source of the Nile are anything to go by, the Beeb would have been better airing Top Gear than the Autumn fodder of ‘reality’ shows last year, as Top Gear stuffed the current reality show – Dancing on Ice – in last Sunday’s ratings.
