Primer 94 can be used to promote adhesion of 3M tapes and films to surfaces
such polyethylene, polypropylene, ABS, PET/PBT blends, concrete, wood,
glass, metal and painted metal surfaces. They are commonly used in applying
flat Dash Trim kits or Molded Dashboard kits, Chrome Door Pillar trims or Di-NOC
Pillar Post decals,
Chrome Bumper Letters, vehicle wraps and other automotive products that
maybe secured by 3M VHB tape.

How to use 3M Primer 94?
1. Prepare surface.
Thoroughly clean
the area where the pieces are to be applied with a clean,
lint-free cloth and the alcohol swabs or with 3M Solvent 70*, to
remove ALL residue and dirt. Sometimes cleaning may need to be
repeated 3-4 times. A test can be performed for cleanliness with
ordinary masking tape, if the tape sticks easily to the surface,
it is ready for using 3M Primer 94, if not repeat the cleaning
process or contact us.

2. Apply 3M
Primer 94.
Squeeze tube in the middle until you hear the ampule crack. When sponge on the front of tube becomes wet primer is ready to use. Apply 3M Adhesive Primer to the dashboard, pillar or any other surface you are using promoter with. It is important to apply promoter ONLY TO SURFACES THAT WILL BE COVERED BY DASH TRIM OR ANY OTHER APPLIQUE YOU ARE USING. Pay special attention to the edges of
dash kit piece, pillars or any other part / applique to prevent lifting. The 3M Adhesive Promoter Stick will dry out in approximately 10 min, please
try to use opened stick on maximum area before it dries out..
3. Before peaces
installation .
Please allow 3M Adhesive Promoter to dry within 7-10 minutes at normal room temperature. Make sure that primed surface remains clean, dust and grease free after 3M Adhesive Primer
94 is applied. Porous surface may require 2 or more applications of 3M Adhesive Promoter to form good adhesion. If you need two or more applications of promoter please allow first one to dry out completely.
4. After
installation. Cleaning.
Excessively applied promoter can be removed with help of isopropyl alcohol. Please note that scrubbing may be required. It is recommended to test isopropyl alcohol before use on any kind of surface to avoid possible damage.

Last week, a fire badly damaged the home of a new Fisker Karma owner, and authorities are saying that the electric car was the source of the blaze. According to Fort Bend County, Texas, chief fire investigator Robert Baker, the Fisker Karma started the fire that spread to the house. “Yes, the Karma was the origin of the fire, but what exactly caused that we don't know at this time,” he said.
