Nissan electric car Leaf starts retailing next year in five markets
Thu, 06 Aug 2009Just days after pulling the wraps off of its prototype Leaf electric vehicle in Japan, Nissan Motor Co. says it has committed to an early launch of 5,000 sales in the United States, starting late next year. The plan will require Nissan North America to begin retailing the Leaf at U.S.

We may not actually get a public debut of the 2012 SEAT Ibiza until the Geneva Motor Show in March, but SEAT are previewing that public debut with details of the facelift and photos of the new Ibiza. All three body styles for the Ibiza get facelifted – the three-door SC, five-door hatch and Ibiza Estate (ST) – with the most immediately noticeable feature being a nose that looks like it came from the SEAT IBX Concept we saw at Geneva last year and which looks set to be the new face of SEAT.

They’ve commissioned a survey to find out what motorists are having to give up as fuel costs rise, and have decided the worst thing is missing out on Sunday’s Roast Dinner.
