You are bidding on 6- 1960's Campbell Duo-Lok Emergency (Snow) Chains. These chains belonged to my late father, who as I remember, used them once, and then decided to buy snow tires. He had them stored in the garage all this time. As you can see by the photo, the chains fit certain 14" tires and certain tires over 14". You would have to convert the inches to metric to get today's tire measurements. I recommend that you use them on steel wheels not aluminum wheels which can get easily damaged. These items are being offered "AS IS", without any warranty or guarantee implied. So please do not ask for any refunds or returns, I am NOT Wal-Mart. If you have any questions, please ask them before bidding. The winning bidder has 4 days to send payment thru Paypal, to expedite shipment. These items are NOT available for multiple item shipping discount. This auction has NO RESERVE. Good luck in bidding!

How Mercedes sees into the future

Thu, 23 Jan 2014

Mercedes' crystal ball is named Alexander Mankowsky. At 56, he's dressed for CES in khaki trousers and a leather vest, with thin glasses perched on a round face; his frizzy white hair resembles what Einstein's would if he were caught in a wind tunnel. He might be a long-distant uncle, or he might be Doc Brown, fresh from the DeLorean.
