International bidder welcome!

________________________________________________________

Up for auction is a set of 6 -  BOSCH 24lb/hr(255cc/min) Fuel injectors. These are the Design III Bosch injectors with the 4-hole discharge for superior fuel atomization. They offer fast, predictable response times down to 2ms which make them great for high performance applications. These are leaps and bounds better than their Design 1 and 2 metal body predecessor.

These are great for mild to moderate turbo/supercharged set-ups, or heavy breathing N/A engines (cams, intake, exhaust).

These are HIGH impedance, so they do not require the use of a resistor box. This set is flow matched to less than %1 for optimal performance, and easy tune-ability. This set is also covered by our 2yr unlimited mile warranty.

BMW owners: Most 80's BMW's have a factory fuel pressure setting of 43.5psi which equates to  a flow rate of 24lb/hr for these injectors. Most 90's BMW's run at 50psi which equates to a flow rate of 27lb/hr for these injectors.

SPECS:
Flow Rates:
- 255cc/min (24lb/hr) @ 43.5 psi
- 285cc/min (27lb/hr) @ 50psi
- 312cc/min (29.7lb/hr) @ 58psi

Resistance rating: HIGH impedance(12.8-16.6 Ohms)
Voltage: 8-15 Volts, Nominal 12 Volts
Pressure: Min. 36 PSI (2.5 bar),  Max. 100 PSI (7 bar)
Surface finish: Metal & plastic composite

Nissan Leaf electric vehicle headed for U.S. market in 2010

Sat, 01 Aug 2009

Nissan has taken the wraps off its production-bound electric vehicle, named Leaf, that is plans to sell in Japan, the United States and Europe. The Leaf seats five and measures 175 inches long--about the same size as a Versa sedan. It uses an 80-kilowatt AC electric motor and draws from a laminated lithium-ion battery pack--the same type of batteries used by cellular telephones and laptop computers.

Bentley Blowers take on the 2013 Mille Miglia

Wed, 15 May 2013

The first is the No.2 Team Car raced by Tim Birkin – one of the Bentley Boys – at Le Mans and bought back by Bentley in 2000. Perhaps best known for its tussle with Mercedes’ awesome 7 litre Kompressor at Le Mans in 2013, the car has been regularly put to good use round the world since Bentley bought it back. The second Blower was originally a Bentley demonstrator, completed in 1930, and has a Vandan Plas Open Sports Four Seater body and after its life as a demonstrator was sold off but bought back in 1997 and it too has been carrying the historical banner for Bentley around the world ever since.

2013 Mazda RX-9 to be rotary hybrid

Wed, 25 May 2011

Mazda Shinari: The 2013 Mazda RX-9 will be a coupe version of the Shinari Concept You know the deal by now. A motoring publication somewhere had a quiet news day and writes a speculative story. That speculation becomes a rumour and that rumour becomes ‘fact’.
