Peugeot 3008 (2009): first pictures
Thu, 15 Jan 2009By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 15 January 2009 09:59 These are the first pictures of the Peugeot 3008 crossover, just released by the French manufacturer. It looks almost identical to the Prologue Hybrid 4 concept unveiled at the 2008 Paris motor show and, significantly, the production 3008 will be Peugeot’s first hybrid vehicle. It also features a head-up display and a Land Rover Terrain Response-rivalling Grip Control system.
Gleagle McCar Concept
Wed, 06 Jun 2012The Gleagle McCar concept is a small EV the automaker calls the “Family Specialist”, due to its 3,700mm length combined with creative family functions within the interior. The McCar, developed by Nova design in Shanghai, retains the established brand identity through the concept's DRG, with a black background featuring four chrome strips, which flows into the integrated LED headlamps. Strong, powerful feature lines flow across the concept's sides into the tail to combine with the slender tail lamps.
Mazda 3, Mazda 6 get customized for the SEMA Show
Tue, 05 Nov 2013We like the look of Mazda's current lineup, from the basic 2 to the sleek 6. Kodo design language has a lot to do with it -- Mazda North American Operations design director Derek Jenkins says that, thanks that Kodo styling, "the Zoom-Zoom genetic code is further being embraced, not buried, through increasingly expressive vehicle design." (Ugh.-ED) We didn't know genetics had anything to do with it, but hey -- tough to argue with the results. Perhaps Kodo's effectiveness is why Mazda's SEMA show concepts are fairly...restrained compared to what other automakers are bringing to Las Vegas.
