Auction is for my last batch of 6 round NOS pre-war clearie Czechoslovakia made jewel-cut nobby bottom glass reflectors. These are roughly the size of a penny (25/32). The backs have the little nobby bumps in the centers.  Can be stuck about anywhere using silicone seal, or, put in bezels, rear mounted in pre-drilled holes, etc. Some uses include: license plate jewels/reflectors, on bike fenders, dress-up leather accessories, mud flaps, mail box, making reflectorized house numbers, on metal, window-sill sun sparklers, etc.  The 6 jewels will seat in a 3/4 hole from the back & go thru a 25/32 hole.  Fotos: 2 with flash. The rest are in various natural lite settings to give U an idea how sparkly these are. The last foto is for size comparison. The middle jewel is in this auction. The fotos show 4, but this auction is for 6. Mailing is still $2.50, 1st class packet with tracking in US. Pininfarina, the Turin, Italy-based automotive styling house, has announced that its design director, Ken Okuyama, has left the company. In a tersely-worded statement Pininfarina said, "The Company's decision comes as a result of the various external activities Ken Okuyama was carrying out beyond his responsibilities within Pininfarina." Ken Okuyama had been Design Director at Pininfarina since July 2005. During this time, Okuyama's most high-profile work was the Maserati Birdcage prototype, created to celebrate 75th anniversary of the Italian styling house.

The Toyota Yaris & Yaris Hybrid have been updated for 2014 Toyota has decided to have a play with the Yaris and Yaris Hybrid, bringing in new trim levels as well as getting the 1.4 litre diesel in to the sub-100g/k emissions bracket. Toyota call the new trim levels a simplification, but you’ll still have the option of Active, Icon (but not on the hybrid), Icon Plus and Trend depending on how many goodies you want to fork out for. The entry-level Yaris Active offers a basic equipment level with electric front windows, USB, and audio controls on the steering wheel, but you’ll have to pick the Yaris Icon to get stuff like 15″ alloys, electric door mirrors, Toyota Touch Media System, rear-vew camera, AirCon and Bluetooth.

Yearly driving costs rise 3.4 percent

This won't be a surprise to anyone--it's costing more to own and drive a car. Higher prices for fuel and tires, and a larger drop in the resale value of cars, pushed the average cost of owning a sedan to $8,776 a year, according to AAA of Heathrow, Fla. That's up 3.4 percent from a year ago.
