You are purchasing a set of plans, on CDROM, for the construction of six hydroplane boats that you can build yourself with a minimum of shop space and not all that much mechanical experience! The hydroplanes included on the CD are:
Each of the craft's set of plans is complete and self-contained. That is, you do not have to refer back to a different set of plans in the collection other than the one you are (currently) building. File viewing software is included on the CD to assist you in viewing/printing the plans. The actual files should be viewable on any computer. However, cross-platform compatibility is not guaranteed. Thu, 01 Aug 2013The photo quality isn't great, but what you see before you may be the first multicar accident involving a new 2014 Corvette Stingray, and what appears to be a second-gen Lincoln Town Car. Chevy also had a single-car Corvette incident in Arizona back in February. Shot in Madison Heights, Mich., the new Stingray pictured is part of Chevrolet's captive test fleet judging by the manufacturer license plate.
Honda loses case over Civic hybrid mileage
Thu, 02 Feb 2012Honda was ordered to pay $9,867 in a Los Angeles Small Claims Court lawsuit to a woman who says her Civic hybrid didn't get the fuel mileage that was advertised, according to Bloomberg News. “I am absolutely thrilled at the reports that I won, even though I won't see the actual judgment until it comes in the mail,” Heather Peters said in an e-mailed statement on Wednesday to the wire service. “It's a victory for Civic hybrid owners everywhere.” Peters opted out of a class action and filed her own case in small-claims court, where plaintiffs and defendants represent themselves.
Italdesign to unveil fast but frugal hybrid car at Geneva motor show
Tue, 24 Feb 2009Italdesign Giugiaro will unveil a concept for a fast but fuel efficient hybrid coupe at the Geneva auto show. The Italian design and engineering company says the two-seater can reach a top speed of 186 mph (300 kph) and accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in less than 4 seconds. The still unnamed concept will travel 117 miles on a gallon of gasoline, Italdesign says.
