We have another Set of 8 used 6 MM Del West Lash Caps. This is a SET OF 8 LASH CAPS FOR 6 MM VALVES. These sell new for $116.00. Del West lash caps and lash disks are designed to minimize the traditional problems associated with these components of fit and accuracy. The lash cap should be secure upon installation without having to be forced during the assembly.

The result is a superior valve stem to keeper to retainer assembly. When the fit is correct, there is no relative motion in the assembly. This results in less wear and an extended service life of the components.

Attributes of the lash caps include:

ID control of 0.0004" (0.010mm) ' Tighter control is available upon request or if required
Surface finish of Ra0.15micron ' Tighter control is available upon request or if required
Crowned (domed) top surface available to insure center contact with actuating component
Aerospace, through-hardened, medium-carbon steel for extended use and wear resistance

RCA Citroen/Exa Double Challenge project

Second year students at the Royal College of Art in London revealed a series of projects at their interim degree show last week. Developed in collaboration with French automaker Citroen and the Exa Corporation, a leading supplier of aerodynamic software, the Double Challenge project asked students to design an ultra-compact model that could establish a unique Citroën e-vehicle aesthetic for the future, all while adhering to certain aerodynamic criteria that would not only reduce energy consumption and ensure stability at speed, but also visually communicate efficiency through its design. The project, which kicked off in October last year, was closely followed by representatives from Citroen and Exa, who examined each of the projects and chose a winner, Heikki Juvonen, at the event last week.

It's a product of Merc's Los Angeles design studio, and they prefer to describe it as an 'Ultralight vehicle at one with nature.' The Biome was produced as part of the Los Angeles Design Challenge, taking part alongside the 2010 LA auto show.
