Mercedes A-class AMG (2012) spied on video
Sun, 11 Sep 20112012 Mercedes A-Class AMG caught on video in Germany We had the very impressive-looking Mercedes A-Concept at the Shanghai Motor Show back in April, and the less than impressive-looking new Mercedes A-Class patent drawings a while later. And now we have the first spy video of the range-topping 2012 Mercedes A-Class AMG caught blatting round Stuttgart. We had high hopes for the new A-Class – which will arrive sometime in 2012 – when we saw what Mercedes had done with the A Concept, but that turned to disappointment when the more prosaic patent drawings appeared.
Range Rover by Overfinch has 30% higher residuals than a standard Range Rover
Wed, 23 Apr 2014The 2014 Overfinch Range Rover (pictured) keeps its value It’s generally considered that money you spend on enhancing a new car by getting one of the plethora of customisers to add interesting bits is money down the drain. But as we reported back in 2012, that’s definitely not the case with the Range Rover by Overfinch. In fact, the last model of the Range Rover had residuals a full 23 per cent more if it was an Overfinch version rather than a regular Range Rover, which made opting for an Overfinch makeover almost a no-brainer.
2013 Ford Fiesta ST debuts at Geneva
Mon, 05 Mar 20122013 Ford Fiesta ST The 2013 Ford Fiesta ST arrives at Geneva in production guise – after a Fiesta ST Concept last year – and will go on sale early 2013. It looks like Ford has finally managed to fit the new 1.6 litre Ecoboost under the bonnet of the new Fiesta ST (all the cars running around so far have had the lump out of the Zetec S) and has pitched up at Geneva with the production version of the 2013 ST. That 1.6 litre Ecoboost engine is a four-cylinder petrol with 178bhp and 177lb/ft of torque, which gives a sub-7 second 0-62mph and a top speed of 136mph.
