The Renault Espace gets tweaked for 2011 The Renault Espace was the car that started the whole ‘People Carrier’ thing, and with ever improving options coming at them from every angle they need to keep the Espace fresh. So although facelift may be a bit strong for the changes Renault has made to the Espace for 2011 – it’s more a case of a quick bit of Botox in its lunch hour – changes there are. If we tell you that the highlight of the facelift is a set of LED running lights you’ll have a fair idea of the extent of the changes for 2011.

Spyker B6 Concept teased for Geneva

Spyker is teasing the B6 Concept for the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, which is probably Spyker’s take on the Porsche 911. A couple of weeks ago we reported that Victor Muller has new plans for Spyker and would be turning up at the Geneva Motor Show in March with a new concept. Now, Spyker has revealed a teaser image for the Geneva Concept – the Spyker B6 (pictured above) – which we’re assuming is the Spyker take on the Porsche 911, probably built on a shorter version of the Aileron’s platform and powered by…who knows what?

Porsche has released a video featuring its Design Director, Michael Mauer, explaining how he and his team went about redesigning the 911, an ‘automotive, engineering icon' as he describes it. "What we as designers are striving to above all is to optimize the width to height ratio with the result that although the 911's width has not increased, the front axle area has become wider, and we've managed to make the roof a bit lower," Mauer explains via a rather dramatic-sounding voiceover.
