Chrome plated 60 mm Triumph and BSA Speedometer or Tachometer mounting bracket. This is for one piece. 97-4023
These have not been available for decades and I have had them reproduced for the first time in a small batch. Exact match to the original.
Very Rare part.
This fits the smaller 60mm Smiths instruments mounted to 71-72 OIF Triumph 250cc and BSA 250cc. Will
fit BSA B50, B25T, B25SS or Triumph T25T. Triumph part # H4023.
Great way to spruce up your bike or add an accessory that was optional when new.

Ferrari ups profits while cutting production (2013) CAR report

Eyebrows were raised in May 2013 when Ferrari chairman Luca di Montezemolo confirmed to a group of journalists, including CAR’s own Ben Barry, that the illustrious supercar maker wanted to slow its production rate and sell fewer cars in 2013. The strange-sounding order was decreed to help the brand retain its exclusivity, yet despite the gastric band on output, the Ferrari boss insisted profits could be upped. Impossible?

Ford's forgotten T-Drive program

Digital boss Andy Stoy recently passed along this little piece of nearly forgotten Ford history from the early 1990s. We know that our girl Murilee Martin dug this up way back in 2010, but the wonder of the Ford T-Drive system is worth revisiting. According to Drivingenthusiast.com, “T-drive is a system consisting of a transversally located inline engine, a transmission and associated packaging.” The transmission is mounted to the side of the engine, or the back, depending on how you look at things.

The new Skoda Superb Estate teased ahead of a Frankfurt launch Update 18/9/09: Skoda has now launched the Superb Estate – the Skoda Superb Combi – at Frankfurt. The Skoda Superb Estate is something of a monster estate – aimed to compete with the big Volvo estates – and is likely to come with an engine – and trim level – to suit just about any need. The Superb Estate doesn’t appear to have a longer wheelbase than its saloon sibling, but it does appear to be taller at the back, which augers well for the load capacity, which Skoda are quoted as saying is ‘Huge’.
