this is the convertible only rear seat from a 1961 buick electra 225 . I have had this seat stored inside for over 20 years. Before that it was in a driving car. Leather is dry but completely intact. Seat springs and frames are excellent. all they need is to be reupholstered . Seat back needs the 2 tabs at bottom welded on that secures seat to floor board if you even need to bother.. A better set of seat frames you wont find unless you buy a whole car. Fit 61 62 buick electra, olds 98 and cadillac and eldorado convertibles.
Warranty:No

Rolls-Royce confirms new Wraith coupé for Geneva

Fri, 18 Jan 2013

Rolls-Royce will launch its new Wraith coupé model at this year's Geneva motor show, thought to be a dramatic fastback based on the Ghost. The carmaker's CEO, Torsten Müller-Ötvös, announced the news this morning at the company's World Dealer Conference in London, claiming that the Wraith will have "the boldest design, the most dramatic performance" and be the most powerful model yet. The Wraith will shape the future of Rolls-Royce and build on the success of Ghost and Phantom.

Volvo Group plans wirelessly charged bus line

Tue, 20 May 2014

There's one bit of futuristic transportation technology that seems to get trotted out almost as often as autonomous cars, electric cars and flying cars: Inductive, or wireless, charging for city buses. It's not as sexy or as memorable as the perpetually out-of-reach commuter-grade Harrier jet, but it uses proven technology (GM's EV-1 uses inductive charging, as do electric toothbrushes) to save or eliminate fuel and to reduce emissions. And unlike the flying car, induction-charged buses are hardly fantasy: They've been used in European cities for over a decade, South Korea started testing a fleet last year and Utah got in on the act recently.

Le Mans regulations for 2014 announced

Thu, 14 Jun 2012

The organisers of the Le Mans 24-hour have announced a raft of radical new rules on the eve of the 2012 race - including the less restricted use of hybrid power for the top-flight LMP1 racers from 2014. The governing ACO (Automobile Club de l'Ouest) unveiled the major changes due in two years' time as the teams start the 80th 24 Heures du Mans event which runs from Saturday 16 - Sunday 17 June 2012. In order to stay in tune with our environmentally-conscious, economically-chastened times, the focus of the alterations is to improve the efficiency of the elite LMP1 cars' technology and cement a link with roadgoing hybrids, as well as making the race cars safer.
