No, this is not a tie-up between Alistair Darling and VW, it’s just Skoda’s way of offering a headline price decrease of a bit over 13% (less expensive to Skoda than last week for the same headline, to be fair, and there is a new model due in January!). Volvo revamps S60, V60 and XC60 for 2013

Despite only being on sale since summer 2010, the S60, V60 and XC60 have been stripped of their quad-light styling. There are also more subtle changes for the V70, XC70 and S80 models.

The combination of high heat and high humidity may cause wiper motor brushes to fail, something we imagine would be especially inopportune in the middle of a downpour.
