This is a completely original 1963 Corvette Riverside Red steering wheel which has never been cracked or repaired in any way .

It is not bent nor has it been straightened .

Color is uniform and vivid throughout .

Grain shows wear , more at left than right as is typical .

There is no corrosion on the spokes .

There are several small nicks and scuffs , worst is featured in a close-up (this is very minor).

This should be an ideal item for a survivor/driver .

They may not be lookers, but there is no denying the performance credentials of Roland Gumpert's Apollo sports cars. With the base 650-hp engine package, the brainchild of the former director of Audi Sport is capable of reaching 60 mph in less than three seconds with a top speed or more than 200 mph. But now Gumpert is planning to reveal a faster chapter in the line at next month's Geneva motor show with the Apollo Speed.

Need to report a POTHOLE? Government-backed App makes it easy There can’t be many motorists in the UK who haven’t fallen foul of our pitted and potholed roads (one of the Cars UK team had a £1500 suspension re-build bill last year), so anything we can do to point out what needs doing is a bonus. So the news that the government is backing an App to report potholes in the UK to the tune of £30,000 is good news (assuming the reported potholes get acted on).
