& make your own decision as everyone's opinion varies; we do the best to
describe as accurately as possible): show quality, excellent, very good, good, fair, poor. This auction is for an OEM 429 engine cylinder head, which is in excellent condition. This was removed from a 4 door 1964 Cadillac 62 Series, but may fit other vehicles listed in compatibility chart; please do your own research as we do not offer refunds if it does not fit your vehicle. My friend had scrapped this car, the engine had been rebuilt ~38,000 miles ago. We struck a deal with the yard to pull the motor, I took what I wanted off of it. The engine ran & drove fine, the car was scrapped due to a blown rear, body rot, and an interior that just made your butt hurt. As you can see in the pics of the spark plugs, this was a clean burning engine, not burning any oil, electrodes have no oil on spark plugs, and running smooth. The head is not all sludged up, and you can see inside the valve springs that the valve & stem are still clean. This would have been a nice restoration project, but he decided to scrap it instead. I've been storing this indoors properly & spraying with WD40 periodically so they will not rust. Please look at all pics and ask any questions prior to bidding. There are plenty of pictures & we purchased the zoom, so please use it. What you see in the pictures is what you get.

Video: Michael Mauer on the 991-series Porsche 911
Tue, 08 May 2012Porsche has released a video featuring its Design Director, Michael Mauer, explaining how he and his team went about redesigning the 911, an ‘automotive, engineering icon' as he describes it. "What we as designers are striving to above all is to optimize the width to height ratio with the result that although the 911's width has not increased, the front axle area has become wider, and we've managed to make the roof a bit lower," Mauer explains via a rather dramatic-sounding voiceover.

BMW Concept M4 Coupe revealed in Pebble Beach 2013
Fri, 16 Aug 2013BMW has finally confirmed the M3 Coupe is no more – and that the M4 Coupe is on the way to soon replace it. Debuting this weekend at the Pebble Beach auto gathering, the M4 may have a new name but the concept is the same; BMW’s racing car ideals wrapped up in a pumped-up two-door bodyshell. The stuff of envy, alright.
