1963, 1964, 1965?, 1962?(not sure about all pieces for 65, check your references - not sure about 62 either) PONTIAC AND CHEVROLET BUCKET SEAT CHROME TRIM. NEW SHOW CHROME. Auction is for all 3 pieces to complete one seat. These are not the tin foil cheap Chinese crap being sold that are paper thin with spotty chrome. These are NOT CHINESE CRAP, but remanufactured by American Craftsman to better than new standards. Used ones are almost impossible to find. This auction is for the all 3 pieces to do one seat, the short inside piece, the longer outside piece, and the large piece over the top and down the sides. They are brilliant new shiny chrome as shown. They are NOT CHEAP! Metal preparation and show chroming is very expensive plus shipping both ways to the best chroming company we can find. We recently changed chromers to get the price down to be competative with the Chinese tin foil units we have seen. We were able to reduce the price over $150 and they are now priced the same as the tin foil stuff. We have these done for our restoration cars and had a lot of compliments and questions where could they be bought, so we had a full set done. If you were at POCI July 2013 or Tri Power Nationals Aug 2013 you saw a set on my 63 Bonneville Factory 4 speed Factory Tri Power Car. These are sold on a core basis with a core charge of $40 each piece for rechromable pieces - no serious cancer through piece nor holes through piece other than normal screw hole in good condition. Pitting is normally OK. We must review each core for its ability to be rebuilt. You may either send us your core set in advance, or pay the $40 core charge, and get a full $40 cash back when we receive your pieces in good structural rechromeable condition with no cancer nor holes. Pitting and surface rust are OK for cores. We don't want your core money - we need re-chromable pieces as this is the only way we can continue this service. The center piece is large and takes a large box to ship these. We also have a very short supply of used decent driver quality chrome pieces for sale on an exchange basis only- pictures sent prior to purchase. Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo launches
Fri, 14 Jan 2011Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo When the press release came in for the Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo, we were a bit surprised to learn that Skoda has been playing in Motorsport for 110 years. We knew they had a noble history before communism relegated them to skip-on-wheels status, but we’re ashamed to confess we knew nothing of their early Motorsport history. We knew of the profile Skoda had in the ’70s with success in rallying, which juxtaposed jarringly with the general perception of their cars.
