Frankfurt Motor Show 2009 Preview

The Frankfurt Motor Show 2009 runs from 17th -27th September to the public Many of the Japanese makers will be conspicuous by their absence, but that should be more than made up for by the launches from the big European makers. And of course the Koreans – in the guise of Hyundai and Kia – will do what they’re starting to do in the market place and fill the gap left by the Japanese. Is Ferrari for sale?

Reports out of Europe have Fiat considering selling a big chunk of Ferrari S.p.A. to raise cash so it can increase its stake in Chrysler Group to 51 percent. The Italian newspaper Il Corriere della Sera said it has gathered information at Fiat’s Turin headquarters and reported Fiat wants to raise cash to fund buying 51 percent of Chrysler, up from the 20 percent it owns now.

Lexus CT200h F Sport (2010), faster hybrids planned

Lexus is desperate to portray its new CT200h as the sporty hybrid. Hence the new Lexus CT200h F Sport unveiled at the Australian motor show. There's a new styling pack, including an IS-F-alike snout, alloys and F Sport trims outside and a sportier interior.
