Aston Martin revives Vanquish name for DBS replacement
Tue, 19 Jun 2012Aston Martin is reviving the Vanquish name for the replacement of the DBS coupe, which will feature a full carbon-fiber body, a 565-hp V12 and a mass of engineering revisions in an effort to eclipse Ferrari's F12 Berlinetta. The Vanquish name goes back to the beefy, old-school model of 2001. Aston hopes that magic will rub off on its next flagship, a heavily revised version of the DBS made famous by its appearance in the Bond movie Casino Royale.
McLaren MP4-12C SGP Edition
Thu, 20 Sep 2012A trio of special edition McLaren MP4-12C have been commissioned from McLaren Special Operations by Singapore car dealer Wearnes Automotive. The McLaren P1 is the headline act for a golden halo for McLaren, but the MP4-12C and McLaren Special Operations are the main source of income for now – or at least until the ‘Baby’ McLaren to take on cars like the Audi R8 and Porsche 911 arrives in a couple of years time.
MG6 CO2 emissions reduced to 129g/km

CO2 figures are down from 139g/km to 129g/km and average fuel consumption has been improved from a claimed 55.3mpg to 57.6mpg. This results in the MG6 dropping a tax band from E to D.
