PROPORTIONING VALVE KIT - DISC/DISC

Quality proportioning valve / distribution block (Combo valve) kit to easily. Kit includes newer style valve that comes with all the necessary parts to convert your existing Drum/Drum or disc drum brakes into Disc/Disc application. This is needed to ensure proper hydraulic pressure to the front and rear brakes.

    Kit includes:
  • Brass Proportioning valve factory set (non adjustable) for Disc/Disc application.
  • 2 steel brake lines to attach to master cylinder.
  • Bracket to mount proportioning valve below and to the left of master cylinder as shown in picture for clean appearance.
  • Proportioning valve plug.
  • Hardware to mount proportioning valve.

This is not a direct bolt in kit.  You will have to reroute your brake lines to accommodate the new port outlets.  In some cases, fitting adapters may also be required.

The deadline for the 2012 Car Design News – Opel/Vauxhall Interactive Design Competition has been extended until midnight (00:00 GMT) Friday 11 May. Mark Adams, Vice President Opel/Vauxhall Design, announced the news in a video message to all entrants, in which he reiterated the brief – to design the Opel/Vauxhall Ampera of the year 2020. All students must submit both an exterior and interior design to be eligible to win paid internships within GM Europe, Opel/Vauxhall's parent company.

New car sales up by 3% on 2013

ANOTHER RISE in new car sales in February has meant purchases have increased every month for two years. A total of 68,736 vehicles were registered last month - a 3% rise on the total for February 2013, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) said. Sales for the first two months of this year have totalled 223,298 - a 6.1% rise on the total for the first two months of 2013 SMMT chief executive Mike Hawes said the two years of continuous growth was "a real endorsement of consumer confidence and the attractiveness of the new car market".

Volkswagen 'will build the XL1' - Piech

Volkswagen will build the radical 313mpg XL1 eco cigar in 2013, Ferdinand Piech revealed at the Qatar motor show. In an interview with Automotive News, the VW chairman said: 'We want to go into series production with this car starting in 2013.' He insisted it would go on sale to real people, not just as media demonstrators. And VW chief exec Martin Winterkorn added the XL1 would be sold in Europe first, then be rolled into the US and Chinese car markets.
