Hyundai HCD-14 Genesis is the ‘Most Significant Concept Vehicle of 2013′
Sun, 07 Jul 2013The Hyundai HCD-14 (pictured) is the most significant concept car of 2013 Hyundai does do good concept cars, and they do have a bit of a track record of taking more of what a concept promises through to production than many other car makers. Like the i-Flow that turned in to the Hyundai i40. So the news that a Hyundai concept has grabbed the gong for the most significant concept car of 2013 does auger well for a future where the Hyundai HCD-14 Genesis actually turns in to the next Genesis, with much of what the concept offers still recognisable.

Wed, 09 Jul 2014By Adam Binnie Motoring Issues 09 July 2014 11:27 Former F1 world champion Kimi Raikkonen revealed an unusual pre-race warm-up ahead of the 2014 British Grand Prix, by haring around a grass track on a racing lawnmower. Drivers are usually encouraged to keep their cars off the grass but as this video shows, the 2007 F1 champ is clearly able to transfer his skill from the tarmac track to the lawn. Kimi raced against former F1 drivers Martin Brundle, Johnny Herbert and also Anthony Davidson around the grass track in a publicity stunt.

Fri, 25 Mar 2011Saab's CEO Jan Ake Jonsson to retire after almost 40 years with Saab It’s been a difficult period at Saab, what with trying to survive as GM came close to closing the Swedish car maker down in the absence of a ‘suitable’ buyer, through being taken over by Spyker and then trying to replace their entire range. And it’s taken its toll on Saab boss Jan Åke Jonsson. It’s been announced that – after nearly 40 years with Saab – 59-year old Jan Åke will step down from his job in May and hand the reins over – temporarily – to Spyker’s Victor Muller until a replacement can be found.
