They appear to be in very good unused condition although the coil spring on back of one has minor surface rust from age. They are the same for the LH or RH side. They have been in dry storage for many years and are being offered for sale for the first time. I only have the one pair. Please note: Please note: NOS does not mean perfect. It means they were never installed on a vehicle. These were mass produced by the thousands and were made to the standards of those days and were not show quality. They
will show small flaws and or imperfections that were the result of the manufacturing process and being piled on top of one another when manufactured so please don't expect 100% show chrome. They are as good as they were made. Please enlarge and examine the photos carefully as they are a big part of the description and ask any questions before placing a bid. Please do your research to determine if they are correct for your vehicle. We ship six days a week, no waiting here. If you desire insurance please let me know and the shipping price will be adjusted on the invoice. Hyundai i30 3-Door looks good: Paris 2012
Fri, 28 Sep 2012The public debut of the slightly racy looking Hyundai i30 3-Door at the Paris 2012 shows it to be a convincing looking car. Sleeker and more sporty looking than its five door sibling, the 3-door i30 (we’ve said it before, it should be i30 Coupe) offers all the well-built, well thought out and decent looks of the 5-door version, but with a bit more panache. What it’s crying out for, though, is something a bit more interesting under the bonnet and the option of some nice alloys and a few subtle body modifications; perhaps a small spoiler at the back, some subtly bigger sills, more butch bumpers and a small ride height drop?
Jaguar reveals 'brand-new' Lightweight E-Type
Tue, 12 Aug 2014This is a brand-new Lightweight Jaguar E-Type, exactly as it would have been if it had left the Browns Lane factory gates in Coventry way back in 1963. It’s not a restoration, either, but a totally fresh, zero miles car that will make its world debut later this week at the Pebble Beach Councours d’Elegance 2014. Back in May, Jaguar announced that it would finally build the remaining six "missing" Lightweight E-Types (originally developed for racing) that it never got round to in the 60s – now they’re here.
New Mercedes A45 AMG has 105 years of 4WD on its side
Wed, 15 Aug 2012With the new Mercedes A45 AMG on the horizon – complete with 4WD – Mercedes chart the history of all wheel drive on their vehicles. We tend to think of 4WD road cars as a modern innovation, and certainly very few 4WD road cars hit the road in a mainstream way much before the 1980s (the Jensen FF was hardly mainstream before someone points out that was in the 1960s). But the history of 4WD goes back, certainly in the case of Mercedes, a surprising 105 years when Daimler built the Dernburg-Wagen, a 4WD vehicle that not only got all-wheel drive but all wheel steering too.
