BMW launches new 5-series (2009 teaser

It's begun - BMW has started the PR roll-out for the new 5-series. First up there's both a teaser video and a single image of the Five, before the new car is unveiled on 23 November 2009. VW Golf R Cabriolet Concept (2011) arrives at Worthersee

VW Group's slow reveal of one-off concept cars continues at the Worthersee Tour on the shore of Lake Worthersee in Austria. This time it's parent brand VW, who have released details on its Golf R Cabriolet concept. VW Golf R Cabriolet Concept: the top-down Rather than inject its supermini with 496bhp steroids or decapitate its rally car, volkswagen has decided to blend two of its most recent Golf variants, merging the Golf Cabriolet's roofless bodyshell with the Golf R's four-wheel-drive powertrain.

Kia announces upcoming concept

Kia will unveil an, as yet, unnamed concept car at the Geneva motor show this March. The concept, which the carmaker calls ‘provocative and racy', features a new take on Kia's signature tiger nose aesthetic that integrates the headlamps into the grille design in a narrow, full-width strip. The lamps themselves seem to be contructed of a pixelted, mesh-like light source.
