Lamborghini Gallardo Squadra Corse (2013) at Frankfurt motor show
Thu, 01 Aug 2013Wave goodbye to the Lamborghini Gallardo forever with this final special edition: the Gallardo LP570-4 Squadra Corse. Forget the previous Superleggera and Super Trofeo Stradale models: the Gallardo Squadra Corse is the most track-focused, hardcore Gallardo ever, and marks the end of a mammoth decade-long lifespan for Sant’Agata’s baby V10 supercar. Gallardo Squadra Corse – Italian for ‘big wing on the back?’ No, though granted the wing will catch your eye first.
Toyota Furia Concept teased ahead of Detroit Auto Show (video)
Fri, 21 Dec 2012Toyota has revealed a short video teasing a new concept car for the Detroit Auto Show - the Toyota Furia Concept. That intent is demonstrated with the latest concept from Toyota – the Toyota Furia – which gets a tease ahead of a Detroit Auto Show reveal and appears to offer a sporty-looking saloon and a name that could have come straight from a video game – cue explosions and fire to demonstrate the Furia.
Nissan Terra SUV concept (2012) first official pictures
Wed, 12 Sep 2012This is the Nissan TeRRA (which we'll be referring to as the Terra from now on.) Strictly a design study with no plans for production, it does nevertheless confirm that Nissan is thinking seriously about fuel cell-equipped cars, and that once the infrastructure is viable, Nissans will be quick to adapt to a hydrogen-fuelled future. It's not Leaf-style EVs, you know.
