This auction is for the bracket that holds the 65 to 67 Ford Mustang Fastback trunk lid torsion bar in place.  This screws to the center for the trunk lid and holds the bar in place so that it does not rattle.  This little guy is easily lost, I lost the one for my 67 Fastback during restoration and could not find a replacement, so I made the tooling and made my own.  If you are doing body work on a 65 to 67 Fastback you need this bracket mounted before trying to fit the lid, if you wait to install it afterward, it will be very difficult to fit.  Correct tension on the rod determines how the lid will fit.

Made in Texas!!!

Thu, 01 Sep 2011

Toyota TMG EV P001 - new EV lap record at the Nurburgring Every car maker wants a lap record at the Nurburgring, and Toyota is no different. What is different this time is that Toyota has taken a non-production car with an electric motor – the Toyota TMG EV P001 – to crack the record for an EV. Nurburgring regular Jochen Krumbach took the Toyota Motorsport EV P001 round the 20.8km Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit in a blistering 7m 47.794s, annihilating the previous record of 9m 1.388s.

Range Rover Evoque by Project Kahn Arrives – minus Cosworth tweaks

Tue, 03 Jan 2012

Range Rover Evoque by Project Kahn Project Kahn has revealed their take on the Range Rover Evoque, with a cosmetic treatment but no Cosworth power boost. Over a year ago – before the Range Rover Evoque started to hit the roads – Bradford car customiser Project Kahn revealed their take on the Evoque complete with unspecified Cosworth power upgrades. But that idea seems not to have borne fruit, and instead we get an Evoque from Kahn with a purely cosmetic take on Land Rover’s new baby.
