  • F15Falcon Roller Bearing Spring Perches, the name that stands for quality.
  • I actually discovered how annoying a worn out spring perch could be the first week of owning my '70 Mach I, 22 years ago. I rebuilt the stock perches and got rid of the squeak, but I realized that the stock design could be improved upon. I built a set of bronze bushed perches in my high school machine shop in 1985. That design worked but it required too much lubrication. I next built a set of urethane bushed perches, but they too squeaked far too much for my taste. I finally built a set of bearing equipped perches in 1986 after seeing a road racing AMX race car with a similar setup. I have been building and selling them ever since.

  • This is a pair of roller bearing front coil spring perches for a ' 64 1/2-'73 Mustang,'67-'73 Cougar, '60-'71 Falcon, Comet,Torino, Rancheros and '66 and up Fairlanes. They will also fit early '70's Mavericks and Comets, as well as '75-'80 Granadas,Mercury Monarchs, and Lincoln Versailles. Installing a pair of these perches will make your shock tower equipped classic Ford act like a totally different car.

  •  The reason is that most of the front suspension bind will be eliminated with the installation of these perches because the coil springs will now rotate on sealed roller bearings. Early Falcons used a bronze bushing instead of  the rubber piece, but they needed constant lubrication to keep them from wearing and squeaking. Ford's solution was the rubber bushed spring perch, which eliminated maintenance, but was not the best design for a performance driven car. The stock Ford perch uses a vulcanized rubber bushing inside of a steel sleeve that lets the perch rotate, but not very easily. With the roller bearing perches, the weight will transfer from front to back and vice-versa far faster and smoother than with the stock perches, and side to side weight transfer is greatly enhanced.

  •  What I do is take a pair of "new" replacement spring perches, and add a CNC (computer numerically controlled) machined steel  2" x .120 wall thick sleeve that will accept the roller bearings. The sleeve has a step that will not let the bearing move. The bearings are pressed into the sleeve with an interference fit.The perches are held in a fixture and the sleeve is MIG welded in place. The new shaft is machined to accept a snap ring to hold it all together. The perches are fully re-buildable if they need it, but the roller bearings will literally last forever. I have invested a great deal of time on building fixtures and tooling to insure that you are getting the finest roller bearing spring perch made. They will work on a six cylinder equipped stock Mustang, or a corner carving Shelby. I personally machine and assemble all of these perches one at a time in my fabrication shop. I have been building these for about 20 years, and I have them installed on all my personal Fords.  They work awesome. Visit my Ebay store to see my coil spring compressor which will remove and install front coil springs on your shock tower equipped classic Ford.
  1. The winner of this auction will receive one pair of new roller bearing equipped front coil spring perches.
  2.  The perches and all components are new and not re-used.
  3. The welding is all done by the MIG process.
  4. A CNC machined sleeve is used to hold the bearings in place.
  5. Snap rings hold the shaft in place.
  6. Compare the price and the quality, and these cannot be beat.

If you want the best, these perches are the finest roller bearing spring perches you can buy.
