You are bidding on a used 3310 780 CFM Holley Carburetor that has been sitting on a shelf in my shop for a long time.
It has the GM Chevy part number 3878261-EH on it My limited research tells me that This number is for a 1965 Chevelle Z16 396 The date code is 1 4 3 Metering plates 5271 & 4519 ALL parts move freely. Throttle shafts are tight & very usable. This carb looks to be unmolested, but obviously will need to be rebuilt. It is your responsibility to make sure that this part is correct for your application. I am starting the bidding low, so bid high & bid often. PLEASE look at the pictures carefully. Tesla Model S outselling Chevrolet Volt & Nissan LEAF
Sat, 27 Apr 2013Tesla never managed to make any money out of their electric Lotus – the Tesla Roadster – but it does look like they’re on to a winner with their electric executive saloon, the Tesla Model S. Despite moans that the headline-grabbing sub-$50k Model S was never a reality – and a starting point of $70k – the Model S looks set to outsell the two most successful ‘alternatively fuelled’ cars – the electric Nissan LEAF and the range extender Chevrolet Volt – in the first quarter of 2013. Sales of the electric Nissan LEAF, which costs from $29k in the US, in the first quarter of 2013 were 3,965 units and the Chevrolet Volt, which costs from $40k, sold 4,421 units.

Fri, 08 Nov 2013The new VW Golf R (pictured) costs from £29,900 The best of the MK 7 Golfs – the new Golf R – arrived back in August ahead of its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show, with Volkswagen telling us it would go on sale in early 2014. But it’s actually on sale now, a few weeks early. At £29,900 (for the 3-door with 6-speed manual), the Golf R is a sensible price ( at least in comparison to VW’s truly silly price for the MK 6 Golf R Cabrio – which they subsequently dropped by more than £5k) and undercuts the similar Audi S3.
