This is a slightly used Holly carburetor I purchased for a car I was rebuilding.  I bought it new…and after about a year I decided to switch out the engine.  The new engine already came with a carb (a bigger one), so I couldn’t use this one anymore.

I never had any issues with it.  It was only in use for about a year and only saw about 300 miles.

It is electric choke with tumble polished finish.  Also it has a black anodized base plate and metering blocks.

Jaguar and Land Rover’s Big Chinese Takeaway

Fri, 27 Feb 2009

[ad#ad-1] As we are only too well aware, car makers are having the most torrid of times. Massive drops in car sales in the UK (at least in new cars – UK used car sales are actually rising) means car makers’ cashflows are horrific. But it looks like there’s a white knight on the horizon for Tata’s Jaguar / Land Rover.

Saab offers free iPad with pre-order of the 9-4X

Mon, 22 Nov 2010

Beginning in mid-January, the first 500 people to place an order for the Saab 9-4X can also receive an Apple iPad--they just have to put down $500 on top of their dealer's pre-order deposit. The iPad will be delivered two to three weeks after the order is placed, and participants will receive a $500 credit toward the 9-4X upon the vehicle's delivery. And in case a person cancels his or her order, he or she can keep the iPad.

Detroit Auto Show 2004 Trends and Overview

Wed, 28 Jan 2004

Where last year's Detroit Auto Show was all about horsepower and luxury, this year's show was more muted, with few truly outstanding cars making shockwaves. The main contender, the Chrysler ME Four-Twelve, didn't create anything like the reaction of the Cadillac Sixteen last year and seemed a bit late to the party, with its massive power and excessive styling. And after all the hype, shouldn't it have been a Dodge, the power brand of DaimlerChrysler, rather than just a Chrysler? For the past couple of years the show has been dominated by truck and SUV launches, so it was good to see the focus shifting back towards cars once again.
