Driver receives 45 points in nine months

Mitsubishi The Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) has uncovered the ‘top 20’ driving licence penalty points holders in the UK – revealing that one man from Liverpool has racked up an incredible 45 points, beating the previous record of 42. But what’s truly astonishing about this is that he ‘achieved’ the 45-point tally in just nine months, between 1 October 2012 and 20 June 2013 – and what’s more, he’s apparently still driving. Honda CR-Z at Detroit motor show 2010

Honda has today debuted the production version of its CR-Z hybrid sports coupe at the 2010 Detroit motor show. The styling is inspired by the old CRX, but under the skin the CR-Z is pure 21st century hybrid. Featuring a 1.5-litre petrol engine with 108bhp and 71lb ft torque, the CR-Z produces 122bhp and 128lb ft in total thanks to the boost provided by its IMA parallel hybrid system.

Volkswagen brings entire Polo lineup to Geneva

Volkswagen revealed the new Polo lineup on Wednesday ahead of the cars' official appearance at the Geneva motor show. The Polo family now includes the Polo TSI BlueMotion, TDI BlueMotion, BlueGT and CrossPolo. VW will also tout its R-Line exterior and interior packages for the subcompacts.
