Porsche 919 Hybrid (2014) first official pictures

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 04 March 2014 07:50 This is the new Porsche 919 Hybrid, and it signals Porsche’s return to the world famous Le Mans 24-hour endurance race after an absence of 16 years. The 919 Hybrid was unveiled this morning at the 2014 Geneva motor show – and a switch from Red Bull Racing to Porsche means this is also Mark Webber’s new company car. Thu, 25 Aug 2011

The rather unloved yet brilliantly packaged Mercedes B-Class will enter its second generation at next month's Frankfurt motor show. The result is a reduction in height by 48mm to 1557mm, while length has grown by 89mm and width by 11mm.

'Jag-Landy deal in 2 weeks'

Thu, 06 Mar 2008

By Tim Pollard Motor Industry 06 March 2008 18:50 It was the story that never happened. Rival media reported that the Jaguar/Land Rover sale would be completed at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this week, but CAR Online spoke to executives close to the deal who said it wouldn’t be for another couple of weeks.‘We didn’t want to over-shadow the products at the show, but to be honest the deal just isn’t done yet,’ said our insider. He said the paperwork and epic detail required on a deal of this scale had created new delays – and revealed that the 4-5 March date had been leaked from the unions, not Ford or Tata.
