First 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 goes for $250,000 at auction

The first 2012 Camaro ZL1 put up for sale brought $250,000 at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Las Vegas on Sept. 24. Fairway Chevrolet-Buick-GMC put the new ZL1 up for auction, with proceeds going toward the Southern Nevada YMCA.

Lotus Evora hits London showroom

Despite the fact that the new Lotus Evora is not due to start delivery until next Summer, Lotus of London, in Park Lane, has this week taken delivery of the first Evora to hit a showroom anywhere in the world, and it will be on show from the 22nd December. The Evora is going to be on display until the 9th January, offering potential buyers, and the terminally nosey, the opportunity to see this exciting new Lotus in the flesh. Finished in Frost White (trendy, but I’m not sure it suits the Evora that well), with a red leather interior, the 2+2 is the first proper new Lotus car for more than a decade.

Alfa Romeo Giulietta Diesel: The middle child

Alfa Romeo Giulietta Diesel 138bhp Alfa Romeo seem to be doing much right – and much less wrong – than ever before. Yet they also seem to be floundering and struggling to make the volume of sales they need to be viable. Maybe buyers are still expecting Alfas to break before breakfast and disintegrate in to a mass of perforated panels inside the first year.
