Mustang T5 Transmission  Crossmember that actually fits !  Most T5 Tubing style transmission crossmembers will not fit a  Classic Mustang Frame without modifying the crossmember brackets. It all starts with the basic design flaw which has the adjustment slots running in the wrong directions. Ford designed the standard Automatic/ 4 Speed  crossmember  with horizontal slots for a purpose,  to allow for alignment of the tunnel support frame holes. My Design uses horizontal slots. Other tubing style crossmembers have the slots running at 45 deg.angles and the brackets bottom out before they line up with the Tunnel Support. I purchased several units to prove my point .and submitt the following  test data.Test were performed using 3/8" dia.fasteners verifying fit-up in a new Mustang Limited Transmission Tunnel Support and a 1968  Mustang at home . If 3/8 bolts would not line up I used  smaller 5/16" .  I submit the results found.    Picture A......NE Performance($99.00 Del.).....Max. (2) 5/16" bolts with no play  left for adjustment, did not fit car. Picture B......Mustang Unlimited ($132.00 Del.).......Max. (2)  5/16" bolts with no play left for adjustment, did barely fit car. Picture C.....NE Performance AOD model($99.00 Del.).....(1) 3/8" and (1) 5/16" bolt with no play left for adjustment, havent verified in  test car. Picture D.....Modern Driveline Plate style ($150.00 Del.).....(2) 3/8 " bolts with sufficient play for adjustment, good fit in car. Picture E......GFORCE AOD/T5 model ($126.00 Del.)...........(2) 3/8 " bolts with sufficient play for adjustment, was 1" short in fitting a T5 in  my car, possibly will fit an AOD which is 1" longer . Picture F..... Clevor Racing Crossmember ($99.00 Del. less accessories ).......(2) 3/8" bolts with sufficient play for adjustment, good fit in car . NOTE : Reason some crossmembers fit the test support and did not fit the car was the line up holes on the car was 1/8" different , 13-5/8" vs 13-3/4" between holes.

Heavy Duty Design. Most tubing style units are made from 1-1/2" Dia. (Exhaust Pipe) light wall tubing and 12 ga (.105") brackets. My Clevor Racing Crossmember is made using 1-1/2" Dia.x .125" wall ERW tubing  and 10 ga.(.135") brackets.  The actual weights of each unit are A.....980 grams , B......960 grams , C.......980 grams , D....... 1430 grams ,  E......1490 grams , F.....Clevor Racing ......1450 grams.  My crossmemtber is the one of heavest designed tubing unit currently on the market.

Commitment . I am commited  to providing a Quality product at a competitive price. My Feedback is presently running 100%  and I am shooting for improvement . Please contact me personally at 336-816-5604 if you have any issues no matter when you purchased your crossmember.

Features.........Guaranteed Fittment, Quality Workmanship, Powdercoated Finish, Made in North Carolina, USA ..... NOTE : Due to the 1" additional drop from factory crossmembers my crossmember will not bolt in using a factory exhaust system. Custom exhaust or modifications to factory exhaust will be required. I now carry Crossmembers for 1965-1966, 1967-1970,1971- 1973 for both T5 and AOD transmissions applications. Please Inquire if interested.

Jaguar XFR Review: On the Road

Mon, 27 Jul 2009

The Jaguar XFR has quite astonishing - and controllable - performance You start to wonder if Jaguar has screwed up and put the normally aspirated version of the potent V8 in the XFR. This can’t be an M5 competitor – it’s just too civilised. The ride is cosseting and compliant, but with an underlying – and reassuring – firmness.

BMW's Vision EfficientDynamics concept bound for Frankfurt

Sat, 29 Aug 2009

BMW has revealed a radical vision for its future performance-oriented models in a spectacularly styled concept car whose combination of M3-rivaling acceleration and Mini Cooper-beating fuel economy will likely make it one of the stars of this year's Frankfurt motor show. Called Vision EfficientDynamics, the one-off coupe is a mobile showcase for lightweight construction and plug-in hybrid drive technology, while featuring a variety of futuristic styling, packaging, aerodynamic, lighting and interior ideas under development at the German carmaker's heavily cloaked FIZ development center in Munich. Many of the concepts are planned for use on upcoming BMW road cars, including an exciting Z10 EfficientDynamics range-topping model due by 2015.

Wed, 13 Feb 2013

Honda is expanding leases of its Fit EV from the left-coast bastions of Oregon and California to the East Coast markets of Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maryland, New York and New Jersey. Eco-minded East Coasters still can’t buy the car outright, but they’ll now be able to lease the electric Fit for three years at a cost of $389 per month. The Fit EV has a mpg equivalency rating of 118 and an EPA electric driving range of 82 miles.
