Here is a restored pair of Shock Tower Caps originally taken off a 1967 Mustang parts car. These are OEM Ford parts, not a reproductions. These have been glass beaded then Zinc Phosphate coated. Certain parts were Zinc Phosphate coated such as Hood Latch, Hood Hinges, Shock tower Caps etc... I also had the bolts restored as well which are included. Most guys paint a zinc phosphate type color when restoring, but for the concourse correct few, this is a must. The zinc phophate is not a paint, but a chemical process. This was performed by a local facility who does this type of process. Check out my other items, Thanks, Mike

Oh, and there’s a monochrome ‘Laurel’ on the rear side windows too. The interior gets a makeover too with Red Bull Racing logos dotted wherever Renault could fit them, and you can even opt for Renault’s R-Link system which throws in SatNav, Music streaming, Apps and Bluetooth and makes it available through version 2.0 of the Renaultsport monitor with built in TomTom and a Red Bull Racing home page.

Mon, 27 Apr 2009

By Tim Pollard (photography by Mike Goodbun) First Official Pictures 27 April 2009 10:39 It’s having a long drawn-out gestation, but Aston Martin’s One-77 supercar made its world show debut at this weekend’s Villa d’Este, where it scooped the top prize for concept cars and prototypes. We’ll forgive you if you thought the One-77 had already been unveiled, but the car at Geneva was a technical cutaway rolling chassis – the first finished car is the one show in our photos above. The One-77 won more than 30% of the votes among the eight cars entered in its category.
