Nice used 1st gen Camaro Evaporator Core and Housing for a small block. The evaporator core was replaced at some point with a new Harrison SAE-AIR-60. I removed this unit from my 68 Camaro during a major cleanup of the firewall, engine bay, and installation of a big block engine. I do not have the compressor, brackets or hoses. Recommend testing prior to installation.

De Tomaso assets being brokered

Wed, 07 Jan 2009

The De Tomaso brand and factory are up for grabs It’s true to say that the De Tomaso brand, probably the most significant of the unused Italian Supercar Marques, has been hawked round the world for years. But this document puts up some real detail, and pictures of the sad decline of a once successful (particularly in the U.S.) supercar maker. De Tomaso was, for a time, a great blend of Italian style and American muscle, but it lost its way badly many years ago and, despite a few attempts to resurrect it, De Tomaso has been off the scene for a long time now.

MINI John Cooper Works Paceman: The hot MINI Countryman Coupe arrives

Thu, 13 Dec 2012

The new MINI Paceman has been given a range-topping model in the guise of the 140mph MINI John Cooper Works Paceman. Debuts at Detroit 2013. The Paceman JCW gets a convincing setup, with the same 1.6 litre 216bhp 1.6 litre as the Countryman JCW which delivers 207lb/ft of torque – and an extra 14lb/ft from an overboost – enough to send the Paceman JCW to 62mph in 6.9 seconds and on to 140mph (139mph in the auto, not that it matters as performance is the same otherwise).

De Tomaso landed back with a bang in Geneva with this BMW 5GT-apeing concept car.  De Tomaso... that name rings a bell. CAR readers may recall De Tomaso, the Modena-based Italian sports car maker founded by Argentinian-born Alejandro De Tomaso in 1959.
