65-73 Mustang 9 inch housing with 28 spline axles and drum brakes.  Is out of a 73 Mach 1 but will fit all 65-73's and most 67-69 Camero and Firebirds if custom U bolts are used.  The perch to perch is 43 inches so it will mount up to all Mustang leaf springs.   The flange to flange is 56 inches and over all back of rim to back of rim is about 60 1/2 inches.  For proper installation use the correct offset rims.  If this rear end is put under at 65 then use the 94 and up Mustang rims you should have no issues.   Same with 67-70 because it is only 3/4 inch wider than stock.  The housing is very clean with little pitting and no road rash.  Axles may need a stud or two replaced and new bearings.  All brake hardware there but one cable cut.  Drums fair.  Hard line still good.  The shock mount plates and U bolts show in pic have been sold and will not be sent.  Inside of housing clean and bright.  Sorry will not ship.  Pick-up only.

Driven: Land Rover DC100 concept

Fri, 30 Mar 2012

Nothing compares to natural daylight for assessing a car's design. Under motor show lighting the subtleties of the surface sculpting, detailing and even proportion can be lost and misconstrued. Hence our first view of the Land Rover DC100 concept out in the open is, quite literally, illuminating.

Mercedes G63 AMG: Details, photos & video

Fri, 20 Apr 2012

Mercedes G63 AMG Ahead of a debut at the Beijing Motor Show next week, we have the first photos and video of the Mercedes G63 AMG. Last week we reported that Mercedes are adding a pair of AMG models to the top of the new G Class range, with the V8 G63 AMG and the G65 AMG offering astonishing performance from a car that’s been around almost as long as Bruce Forsyth. Sadly the UK won’t be getting the G65 (although if you’re mad enough to spend £250k on a G Class you can bring a LHD one in from Germany), but we will be getting the G63 AMG with the 5.5 litre bi-turbo.
