Please read carefully: 1967-69 Ford Mustang Cougar Limited Slip 9 inch rearend assembly.  Code tag WES-G 3L25.  3.25 ratio.  Unit came out of a Cougar 390 GT wrecked in the right front in 1988 and hasn't been used since.   Both axles and pinion turn easily together with no noise.  Comes with brakes, brake lines, parking brake cables, original springs and spring perches.  Brakes and those associated parts can expect rebuild, but the hubs and drums are all there.  Wheels pictured do not go with it.  Unit will need some reconditioning and would be perfect for a 67-69 Mustang or Cougar restoration.  This unit is being auctioned with the expectation that the winner understands that to simply slide this unit into a vehicle without a thorough inspection is unwise.  I have described this unit to the best of my knowledge very honestly but it is used, and nearly 50 years old, so there is no warranty.   I will open palletize the unit and ship by Engine Shipping.com but will not pay the cost.  Figure whatever they quote plus $50.00.

Vauxhall Insignia ecoFLEX announced

Mon, 20 Apr 2009

Vauxhall has announced the launch of the Vauxhall Insignia ecoFLEX [ad#ad-1] A few days ago we revealed that Vauxhall had launched a range-topping Insignia – the Vauxhall Insignia VXR, a 325bhp road burner. Well, in these eco-friendly times, it seems appropriately balanced that Vauxhall has now announced the arrival of the Vauxhall Insignia ecoFLEX, to balance the Co2 and testosterone the VXR produces. The Insignia ecoFLEX, as you would guess, is all about economy and lower emissions.

Japan Car: Designs for a Crowded Globe

Thu, 04 Dec 2008

The Science Museum in London, UK is hosting the Japan Car: Designs for the Crowed Globe exhibition, sponsored by seven Japanese automobile manufacturers. An exploration of the car as a 'mobile cell', the exhibition has been conceived by graphic designer Kenya Hara and architect Shigeru Ban to show how Japanese design reflects the 'soil and spirit' of Japan, depicted by concept cars and models specific to the Japanese market. Speaking to Car Design News, Shigeru Ban explained how the automobile was chosen as the central element to the exhibition because it is a reflection of Japanese culture and tradition.

Skoda Fabia concept

Tue, 06 Mar 2007

By Tim Pollard Motor Shows 06 March 2007 03:50 Skoda looks to the Mini for Fabia body kit Expect to see some Mini-inspired styling cues on Skoda's new Fabia, taken from this concept car unveiled today at the Geneva show. Tucked in a corner alongside a rally car concept, the funked-up Fabia had a silver roof and door mirror caps; although not yet officially confirmed for production, officials reckon the new look will make it to showrooms, unlike a Fabia Scout faux-by-four, which was ruled out. The Fabia goes on sale in May for around £8000.
