The real problems for GM and Chrysler were their appalling high-volume cars, stuck at least a decade behind Europe in both styling and efficiency, they were an accident waiting to happen. Thu, 18 Aug 2011Brumos Porsche in Jacksonville, Fla., parent of Brumos Racing, confirmed the production and imminent delivery of five factory-built 911 Carrera GTS B59 Edition coupes that pay homage to driver Hurley Haywood--five-time winner of the Daytona 24-hour race. The exclusive Porsches will carry a sticker price of $133,540. The 408-hp coupes, based on the GTS, will have the Brumos red-and-blue stripe design for the front hood and rear deck, Porsche door decals, 19-inch sport classic wheels, limitation badges and Carrera White accents and door-entry guards with HHaywood's engraved signature.
