"ACADIAN" nameplate/emblem removed from the C Pillar/Sailpanel of a 1969 Pontiac Acadian I am currently starting to part out. Nameplate is overall in Good useable condition, with some pitting noted ( lots of photos). This is Emblem #1, and marked on back with GREEN marker....(Emblem #2 is in another auction, and marked with Blue Marker) All mounting studs are good, fastening nuts are also included. Where would you find another one if your car was in an accident?...Lots of photos to show actual condition.ANY QUESTIONS- PLEASE ASK!!!. May be correct for 68-72 Acadian, however I am not 100% certain, so please research your own application before bidding. I have other parts from this car in my other auctions, including the matching emblem from the other side (emblem #2). Local Motors has announced the results of its Pacific Northwest design competition, which asked contenders to create a vehicle for the region's inhabitants. Taking into account nature's four elements - Earth, wind, fire and water - designers the world over answered a brief that called for designs that would enable drivers in the Pacific Northwest to 'thrive in the elements'. Competition entrants were encouraged to create a vehicle inspired by the elements or specifically tailored to allow the users to better experience the elements, all while causing little to no environmental impact.
