Wed, 16 Dec 2009

Ferrari Designer Donato Coco joins Lotus as Director of Design As we’ve reported umpteen times this year, Lotus are getting things very right. Part of the long-term plan at Lotus is to bring the Hethel boys back to the top of the heap in the way Lotus were in the glory days of Colin Chapman.

USA, UK & Germany will be top markets for the new BMW i8. You don’t say?

As America is already BMW’s biggest market place, that’s not entirely a shock, and nor is the news that the UK and Germany will be the biggest markets in Europe. After all, they’re the only major economies in Europe without huge falling markets for cars.

Peugeot BB1 concept

Fri, 25 Sep 2009

Peugeot BB1 concept was one of the more interesting surprises of the 2009 Frankfurt motor show. Capable of accommodating four people in a package only 2.5 meters long, the all-electric BB1 concept seeks to reinvent the car in every respect: architecture, style, interior design, driveability and connectivity, bringing the environment very much to the fore. Conveying values of freedom and optimism, and even 'altruism', the BB1 concept offers the promise of a new driving experience, wrapped in an altogether fresh and intriguing package.
