The 2014 Mercedes S63 AMG (pictured) revealed We did think Mercedes would get more mileage out of their tease for the 2014 S 63 AMG, but this morning they’ve revealed the fastest version of the new S Class so far – the new Mercedes S 63 AMG. The S63 AMG is exactly what you’d expect the new S Class AMG would be. It comes with the usual array of AMG cosmetic tweaks including a big, butch front bumper, bigger sills, AMG alloys and ‘Biturbo’ badges on the wings to shout its intent.

Lamborghini has announced a roofless Roadster version as part of the brand’s continued 50th anniversary celebrations – and plans to build up to nine examples, depending on demand. However, at €3.3m (£2.8m) – plus local taxes – the Veneno Roadster is ten times more expensive than the Aventador Roadster on which it’s based.

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers sent out a press release earlier this month in which they claim that by 2040 75% of the vehicles on the road will be autonomous. As much as I love driving, I have to admit that I won't bemoan the death of the traffic jam. I'll happily give up the crowded freeways and city streets if it means cheaper gas and abandoned back roads.
