This auction is for one (1) interior map light-used.

Taken from a 1968 Chrysler Newport. Might be usable for other models or model years, also--check your apps before you bid. The numbers cast into the back side are 2864459.

Condition is above average for it's age. This light is mounted above the ashtray, but since this was a non-smoker's car, this has none of the typical cigarette nicotine stains on it. The casting is nice, with only very light scratches, the lens is nice, and the switch and knob are nice. This light has been tested and works as it should. Includes a working light bulb.

Very nice replacement for a missing, broken, or severely corroded original (or to replace a nicotine stained original).

No reserve.

Geneva Motor Show (2010) Preview

Sun, 21 Feb 2010

All the new car releases we expect to see at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. We’re now getting close to the first major European Motor Show of the year – some would say the most important motor show of the lot – the Geneva Motor Show which kicks off for the press on 2nd March and runs until 14th March. So we thought we ought to do a quick preview of what we already know is going to make an appearence at Geneva so you can know what to look out for as we get more detail, and provide an easy starting point to catch all the car news from the Geneva Show.

Was the Corvette museum collapse a hoax?

Tue, 11 Mar 2014

When you saw video footage of eight Corvettes falling through the floor of the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Ky. , did you think it looked a little …off? When you saw the photos in the New York Times, did you start to suspect that perhaps the Illuminati had something to do with it?

Video: Chevrolet engineer Oppenheiser talks 2012 Camaro ZL1

Tue, 02 Aug 2011

What we have here is a little teaser video of the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 featuring chief engineer Al Oppenheiser. It was filmed at the Camaro Homecoming Event in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, in June. Oppenheiser gives us a look at the 6.2-liter supercharged Camaro, explaining how airflow will enter the front grille and be drawn away from the engine with the hood vents.
