Up for sale is a super nice 1969 cast iron Quadra-Jet big block Chevy intake
manifold. The intake is GM part# 3931067 and is dated E-13-9. The intake has just been cleaned and is ready for paint. All threads are very nice as well with no type of heli-coils etc. This was used on the following 1969 big block applications:

Pierre Authier: I'm not moving to Opel/Vauxhall
Fri, 31 Aug 2012As the ongoing General Motors designer saga continues, the latest Opel/Vauxhall Vice President of Design elect, Pierre Authier has taken his name off the shortlist for the Rüsselsheim. Car Design News had received information from a reliable source within PSA about Authier's supposed move, however we have since spoken to Pierre, who was keen to put the record straight: “I read the flattering article on my recruitment as VP of Design for Opel/Vuaxhall, but this information is false,” he told CDN. “I am really enjoying my position at Peugeot and with the 208 family team that has made such incredible work.” The search for the missing piece in the GM puzzle continues.
BMW Alpina B7 gets power boost for 2013
Fri, 15 Jun 2012The 2013 BMW Alpina B7, the performance version of the German automaker's 7-series sedan, gets an additional 40 hp--and a more costly sticker price--for the new model year. BMW plans to roll out the 2013 model at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in August and begin sales soon thereafter. Under the hood, power from the 4.4-liter V8 has been increased from 500 to 540 hp with the addition of BMW's throttle-less Valvetronic intake system.
