This is a full size very easy to use template for 1969-1970 FORD MUSTANG MACH1 SHAKER/HOOD AIR SCOOPS. Template is the same scale as the original that came with OEM hoods and is used for installing all 1969-1970 Mustang hood air scoops (ALL MODELS). Template gives cutout and bolt hole location for original Ford non-functional hood scoops with cutouts for directional lamps. Template also gives molding bolt hole location and cutout for original Ford functional “thru the hood” air scoop (shaker). The procedure for locating hood latch dowel pin holes in the hood is also included (NO PAPER TEMPLATE NEEDED). Tue, 11 Mar 2014Here's a trick efficiency-chasing hypermilers have been using for years: spotting the cycles of stoplights from 100 to 200 yards out and letting the car coast up to the light just before it turns green, then carrying on without ever letting the car come to a complete stop. These hypermilers, along with professional truck drivers, do this because they know that accelerating from a standstill burns the greatest amount of fuel, and because letting a car coast up to the light with the automatic transmission downshifting by itself is easier on the transmission than stomping on the brakes right beneath the stoplight. Oh, and it's easier on the brake pads as well.

Fri, 03 Feb 2012The jury of the 2012 Michelin Challenge Design has selected and released images of its 27 finalists, chosen from a huge number of designs submitted by aspiring automotive designers. The competition's theme, ‘City 2046: Art, Life and Ingenuity', saw more than 1,700 registrants representing 88 countries which left the jury reviewing over 200 projects. Michelin set all participants a challenging brief, calling for designs for a "desirable, safe and sustainable personal vehicle" specifically for Los Angeles, Mumbai, Paris, Rio de Janeiro or Shanghai.
