Here is an original pair of exhaust manifolds that are in near perfect condition. These both have early casting dates of K 19 8 or November 19th 1968. For reference these came off of a rust-free California 1969 Camaro that was built the 4th week of December 1968. I believe they will also fit Chevelles and Novas, but I'm not 100% certain. These would be a perfect pair for a car that was built December 1968 thru January or so 1969. You probably will not find a nicer original pair than these. They are by far the nicest original big block manifolds I have ever seen. Any questions, please ask and thanks for looking.

McLaren Automotive Company created as an independent

Thu, 16 Apr 2009

The McLaren P11 will be the first of McLaren Automotive's new cars in 2011 The whole road car business at McLaren is to be made an independent company – McLaren Automotive – and is aiming to produce 1,000 cars a year by 2011 and 4,000 a year by 2015. McLaren plans that the cars they produce will be more exclusive, and more expensive, than the competition from Italy. The ball will start rolling with the McLaren P11, a car aimed squarely at the F430/Gallardo market.

One Lap of the Web: Jeff Gordon strikes fear in NYC cab rider

Fri, 28 Feb 2014

-- Nothing in life is more fun than seeing your friends fear for their lives, and for the next five minutes, our good friend Travis Okulski really thought he was locked in a cab with a grizzled ex-con who was going to escape from the police and, as ex-cons are wont to do, murder him in the woods. Hah! What a schmuck.

Aftermarket Car Plug-In Hybrid system developed (video)

Sun, 05 Aug 2012

The Department of Engineering Technology at the Middle Tennessee State University has developed a plug-in hybrid retro-fit system for cars. As hybrid cars show the world that we can get more miles to the gallon from fuel by adding in an electric motor to the mix (depending on just how that electricity is generated, of course), it was inevitable that aftermarket solutions would eventually surface. Now, the Department of Engineering Technology at the Middle Tennessee State University has popped up with what they claim is an after market plug-in hybrid system that can be added to just about any car and would cost – assuming it gets to market – around £2,000.
