Bentley Continental GT Hybrid?
Mon, 08 Jun 2009Bentley Continental GT caught sporting gubbins that looks suspiciously like a Hybrid power train So far, Bentley has opted for Bio-Fuel as a good starting point for going ‘Green’, but if the spy shot you see here is anything to go by, it looks like we could be seeing a Bentley Hybrid before too long. Snapped in Spain, where many car makers do hot weather testing in Europe, this Bentley Continental GT is definitely sporting something major in the mechanical department that doesn’t fit with the stock car. MINI Countryman to be built in India
Wed, 17 Apr 2013MINI sells worldwide – even in the US – and, despite claims it was a step too far for the brand, the MINI Countryman has been a big hit for MINI, offering as it does most of MINI’s charm but in a bigger, more family friendly package and with the option of All4 4WD for a degree of off-road ability (well, certainly the ability to treat boot sale car parks with disdain). The plan is part of BMW’s plan of ‘Production follows the market’ where BMW aim to make their cars where they’re sold, so with the MINI brand showing strong growth in India since its launch it makes sense to build them there.

"In a European company, everybody is a car driver, a car enthusiast," says the Germany-born design chief of Kia Motors Corp. "Everybody from the CEO to the little designer to people on the production line, they want to build cars they want to drive themselves." Koreans can be more market-oriented: "They look at the big picture, which markets to explore or conquer.
