This is the perfect engine/transmission combination to turn your 69/70/71 Chevelle into a numbers matching clone SS. For $2999 you can add about $10-$20K to the value of your Chevelle. This engine casting number was used for the 396/402 BBC engines made for the late 1969 through the 1972 model years. This is a complete, running engine that was in use up to April, 2016. The car had to be retired due to rust issues and not worth restoring. Free freight shipping to the lower 48 states is included in the $2999 asking price. And at Los Angeles we get treated to yet another ‘Concept’ version – the Subaru BRZ Concept STI. Which does seem a bit odd; after all, the production version of the BRZ is scheduled to arrive later this month at the Tokyo Motor Show, and we know from the teaser shots Subaru sent us of the production BRZ that there are changes from this Concept.
