The Kilduff Paddle Eliminator Shifter.
For late model camaro's. Puts the shifter on the floor. Uses the factory shift linkage. Works with the 6L80E in 2010-2015 camaro's. The paddles are now sticks. The sticks are in the console. There's one for upshifting and one for downshifting. The computer still thinks the you have the paddles on the steering wheel, so there are no codes. No check engine light will come on. The sleek racer – powered by twin diesel engines each producing 750bhp – touched 308.252mph yesterday (Thursday 17 August). That smashes the current diesel car world record of 235.756mph, set in 1973.
Toyota to unlock secrets of black-box recorders
Thu, 25 Feb 2010Reacting to criticism that data from black-box crash recorders in its vehicles can be accessed only by the company, Toyota Motor Corp. is moving to ship hundreds of data-decoding machines to the United States and make them commercially available to help diagnose vehicle problems. The devices, known as event data recorders, are similar to the black boxes on airliners and record information such as vehicle and engine speed in the seconds before a crash.
