Jaguar to end XK production after 18 years

Jaguar will this summer cease production of the XK 2+2 GT car after 18 years at the top of the Coventry firm’s model range. The decision to stop making the XK comes after the hugely successful launch of the F-Type – which, say analysts, has led to a big fall in XK sales as thousands of buyers queues up to buy the F-Type. Subaru Forester

Subaru has confirmed that the its new Forester SUV will be making its debut at the 2012 Los Angeles auto show later this month. The fourth-generation five-seater Forester, which is 4,595 mm long, 1,795 mm wide, 1,695 mm high sitting on a wheelbase of 2,640 mm, was developed to highlight its handling and stopping capabilities, enhanced safety and environmental performance. A ground clearance of 221 mm also emphasizes its ability to navigate all road conditions.

Loved as it may be by its loyal fanbase, the outgoing Z4 was always something of a mixed bag in terms of design.
